Three regulation enforcement officers have been wounded in a shootout round daybreak close to the Israeli Embassy in Amman, the Jordan Information Company (Petra) reported on Sunday. The suspected gunman was shot lifeless.
The incident unfolded when the suspect opened hearth on a police patrol after which tried to flee the scene, the company stated, citing Jordan’s Public Safety Directorate.
Officers engaged the attacker in a firefight, throughout which the gunman was killed, Petra reported.
Loud gunfire echoed by way of the neighborhood, and quite a few emergency providers autos have been seen on the scene in movies circulating on social media that purported to indicate the incident.
